This weather station does NOT have a RADIO-CONTROLLED CLOCK. For the first time using, you need to manually set the time and date first. For better work, please always keep the weather station powered via the AC adapter. If you want the backlight stays on and 3-level adjustable, AC adapter Plug-In Required. (All Color Screen Weather Stations Are AC adapter Plug-In Required.) The remote sensor is totally wireless but has to avoid direct sunlight and rain as it will affect accuracy. To ensure accurate temperature measurement, do not block the vents on the back or bottom of it and away from any heat, moisture sources or vents. Distance test weather station and sensor, away from the metal mesh, magnetic field of heavy duty objects. ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE CHANNEL CHOSEN ON THE DISPLAY UNIT MATCHES THE CHANNEL OPTION CHOSEN ON THE OUTDOOR SENSOR(channel 1, channel 2, channel 3). Weather station is a functional product, correct setting ensures its normal use, if there’s any problem, please go through Amazon’s direct messaging service to get support.
